Meet the Founder

Hello! My name is Scheraine Beau, and I am a 47-year-old mother of two wonderful adult children, aged 28 and 25. Although I have no grandchildren yet, my life has been filled with remarkable journeys and fulfilling experiences.
My professional path began in healthcare, where I dedicated many years to working for others.However, in 2017, I decided to retire from that field and embark on my entrepreneurial journey. This transition wasn't sudden; it began in 2015 when I started GirlBoss Plugz, LLC as a side hustle while still employed in healthcare. This business focused on consulting and laid the foundation for my future ventures.

In 2017, I took a significant leap and opened a mental health clinic in my hometown of New Orleans, named Blue Bird Social Services. The clinic quickly became very successful, but like many others, I faced challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, I made the difficult decision to surrender the operations license for the clinic. It’s important to note that I did not legally close Blue Bird Social Services; I can reapply for my operations license and restart my practice at any time. My passion for cooking and baking has always been a cornerstone of my life, often engaging in bake sales for non-profits to support families in need. In 2020, I decided to transform this passion
into a cottage food business, which eventually led to opening a sweet shop. During this period, I discovered my obsession with flavors. One day, I announced to my family that I was going to create my own flavoring line. Despite their initial skepticism, I persisted.

I started experimenting with different flavors in my kitchen, purchasing various brands, and conducting extensive research. After three months, I crafted my first batch of flavoring, and it was a hit! The cake I made with my own flavoring was loved by everyone. This success led me to sell my flavorings through my cottage food business, Sweet Treats Sugar Shack, to other cottage food and home bakers. Sales skyrocketed, and my flavors gained popularity worldwide. In 2021, I rebranded my flavoring business to what is now known and loved as Fleur De Flavor. Leasing a commercial facility allowed me to expand my market reach, and today, Fleur De Flavor is a thriving million-dollar business. I am proud to say that I am entirely self-made. I have no fancy college degree, just a few certifications such as medical billing/coding, ServSafe manager, and licensed insurance adjuster, to name a few. Everything I've achieved, I’ve built from the ground up, and so can you.

 Currently, I own several businesses: Blue Bird Social Services, GirlBoss Plugz, Tasteful Vending Services, Sweet Treats Sugar Shack, and Fleur De Flavor. I feel blessed to be where I am today and grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and skills with you. If I can achieve this, so can you!
